Working closely with the client team and consulting with a variety of user groups from families to disabled access groups a new gallery was created to illustrate the transition of the British Army from horse power to mechanisation primarily in World War 1. The intention was to tell this dramatic and fast moving story through the imaginary perspective of the horses. To achieve this we created sculptural horses with concealed audio which is activated as visitors pass. The intention was to surprise and engage through the medium of audio. The style of the interpretation is multi layered utilising audio and projection along with interactivity and traditional graphics to provide an all inclusive accessible exhibition.
